Bianca & Cerae: An Artful Adventure at the Phoenix Art Museum

Bianca & Cerae: An Artful Adventure at the Phoenix Art Museum

When Bianca and Cerae first reached out to me, I could tell they weren’t here for your run-of-the-mill engagement photos. They sent over some inspo shots of Winona Ryder, all moody vibes and rich, dark tones. I was like, yes, please! So, we decided on the Phoenix Art Museum—perfect for their vision, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a little high art with their love story?

Now, here’s where things got interesting. The museum was under construction, and instead of panicking or pivoting to Plan B, Bianca and Cerae just rolled with it. They saw the potential in every unexpected corner. My favorite moment? We stumbled upon this massive backlit tarp. It wasn’t part of the plan, but sometimes magic happens when you least expect it. I had them step behind the tarp, and boom—instant masterpiece. It gave off this dreamy, almost ethereal glow, like something out of a moody indie film.

And then came their favorite part: the LED tunnel. Picture this—red lights bouncing off the walls, creating this edgy, almost otherworldly vibe. It was bold, intense, and totally unique, just like Bianca and Cerae. We played around with the lights, and the photos turned out chef’s kiss stunning.

What I loved most about this session was how collaborative it felt. It wasn’t just about snapping pretty pictures; it was about exploring, experimenting, and finding beauty in unexpected places. Bianca and Cerae brought their vision, and together, we turned a construction zone into an art gallery. Hidden surprises, happy accidents, and a whole lot of love—that’s what made this session unforgettable.
